PROSPECTIVE GRADUATE AND HONOURS THESIS STUDENTS

Thank you for your interest in the research we are doing and in graduate school at Western. Dr. Hayden is not reviewing graduate student or honor’s thesis applications for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Here's a link to Dr. Hayden’s faculty profile:

Our lab’s research interests center on understanding vulnerability to mood disorders from a temperamental/emotional perspective. We are also very interested in developing and using novel assessment approaches to complex constructs (e.g., temperament, emotion), and in including genetic and biological measures in more traditional behavioral research paradigms.

In terms of incoming students, a strong interest in mood disorders and developmental psychopathology research, relevant research experience (broadly defined), the ability to get along well with others, and GPA are highly valued! If you are interested in personality, temperament, and mood disorders risk, particularly from a biobehavioral/individual differences perspective, please apply!
